DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (April 2, 2018) – Gary DeCesare, M.D., a plastic, reconstructive and hand surgeon, has joined the surgical team at Halifax Health Medical Center.

An honors graduate of both the University of Florida and the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, Dr. DeCesare completed surgical training at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and went on to do his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

While attending UCLA, Dr. DeCesare learned from top cosmetic surgeons in Beverly Hills as well as leaders in the field of reconstructive surgery.  He also discovered an appreciation for the extreme surgical precision required in hand surgery and completed a prestigious hand surgery fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. DeCesare’s specialties include cosmetic and hand surgery as well as breast and general reconstruction.  In addition to his practice duties, he is an on-call reconstructive surgeon for Halifax Health’s Level II Trauma Center.
