DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (December 2, 2020) –
Halifax Health and The Volusia Flagler YMCA are proud to announce its one of a kind free series targeted at enhancing your immune system to defend against COVID-19. According to Mica Lill, Halifax Health Healthy Living Centers Program Coordinator “in general people who have a stronger immune system and are in their best health are less likely to have complications from Covid-19. This series is designed to educate and answer questions about strong immune systems through proper nutrition, rest, exercise and more.”
The topics of the four part series are geared toward boosting your immune system which is one of the most important aspects of guarding against COVID-19. The impact of sleep, exercise, nutrition and vitamins for your health will be discussed, by a subject matter expert. The free virtual series will start on Tuesday, December 8 at 6:00 pm and last one hour.
