More than 90 years ago, Halifax Health made a promise to serve all the members of our community. Today, when a patient chooses Halifax Health, they have access to our entire network of specialists, experts and hospitals. We provide care that no other area hospitals can offer, including the area’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center, Comprehensive Lung Program, Level II Trauma Center, OB Emergency Department, Level III Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU and Behavioral Services. We also serve as the area’s most preferred Hospice Care and offer home health with Care at Home.

Halifax Health provides assistance for the education you need to start your career

Accelerate your education by taking advantage of the incredible opportunities offered through our partnership with Daytona State College. If you want a rewarding career in healthcare, find out how to become a Halifax Health Team Member once you have completed your degree or certification. Financial assistance may be available for students enrolled in:

› Respiratory Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Certified Nursing Assistant, Radiological Technologist, Phlebotomist, Surgical Technologist, Licensed Practical Nurse, Health Information Tech or Medical Assistant programs

› BSN or AS Nursing degree programs

Requirements:

› Application and approval process must be completed
› May be enrolled part-time or full-time
› Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
› Must be a resident of Volusia, Flagler or Brevard County
› Must enter into a separate agreement with Halifax Health or a Halifax Health affiliate regarding future employment
