Eric Peburn

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Peburn is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Halifax Health. His responsibilities include oversight of the following departments within the health system – Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Construction, Facilities, Supply Chain, Physician Services, Revenue Cycle, and Information Technology.

Mr. Peburn joined Halifax in 1996 as corporate Controller.  He was promoted to Director of Finance in September 2003 and to Assistant Administrator in October 2005.  Mr. Peburn assumed his current role in November 2007.  Prior to joining Halifax Health, he was an auditor for Ernst & Young LLP in Orlando, Florida.  He holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Peburn is currently a board member of Volusia Health Network, Halifax Insurance Plan, Inc., Father Lopez Catholic High School, and chairs Vizient Southeast’s CFO/COO Council. He is also a member of the Civic League of the Halifax Area, the Community Foundation and various other boards. He is a Past Chair on the executive committee and Board of Directors for the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce.
