Mary Jo Allen, MSN, MBA, RN is the Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer at Halifax Health. Mary Jo joined Halifax Health in 2015 as the Executive Director for Halifax Health-Hospice.

Over the past several years, she has overseen leadership responsibilities in the post- acute and inpatient environment.  In her new role, she will continue oversight of Halifax Health – Hospice/Palliative Care, Care At Home, Continuing Care Services and Case Management in addition to her nursing oversight.

Mary Jo holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She was named Young Professional of the Year in 2017 for Volusia and Flagler counties by the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

Mary Jo serves on the Volusia/Flagler County United Way, Career Source and the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. In addition, she is a Take Stock in Children mentor and a Rotarian.
