DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (November 19, 2020) – Rebecca Canizares and Alexis Saviuk of Halifax Health|Brooks Rehabilitation were recently honored with the Brooks Rehabilitation Celebrate the Star Award for going above and beyond in providing the highest quality medical care to patients. Winners of the award are nominated by their peers for demonstrating the organization’s mission, vision and values.
Rebecca Canizares is the lead physical therapist for Halifax Health|Brooks Rehabilitation – Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation. Canizares earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut and has been at Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation since 2019.
Alexis Saviuk is a speech and language pathologist for Halifax Health|Brooks Rehabilitation – Pediatric Outpatient Clinic. Saviuk graduated with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015 from Nova Southeastern. She has been serving the pediatric population since then, joining Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation in 2017.
