Connelly Named Executive Director of Halifax Health Physician Services

(December 20, 2016) – Jeanne Connelly has been named the executive director of Physician Services for Halifax Health.

Connelly has more than 15 years executive leadership experience encompassing hospital-residency programs and community-based practices including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, plastic surgery, orthopedics, occupational medicine, rheumatology, psychiatry, pain management, podiatry, chiropractic, physical/occupational therapy, and dental.

She was previously with 3B Orthopaedics at Aria Health in Langhorne, Pennsylvania where she served as vice president of operations as well as chairman of the Governance Committee, reporting directly to the board of directors.  In her role, she provided both strategic and operational oversight for a nationally recognized orthopedic practice, covering three hospital campuses including a Level II trauma center, four office locations, and a staff of more than 150 employees.

Prior to joining Aria Health, she served in several leadership roles including vice president of clinical operations for OAA Orthopaedic Specialists in Allentown, Pennsylvania; director of clinical operations for Pocono Healthcare Management in East Stroudburg, Pennsylvania; and regional manager of St. Luke’s Physician Group, covering a five-county area in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration from DeSales University in Pennsylvania.  She is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives as well as a certified coder.
