Halifax Health Announces 2015 Radiography Program Graduates

On June 19, nine Halifax Health Medical Center employees graduated from the hospital’s Radiologic Sciences program.

The graduates of the nationally accredited hospital-based program are: Jessica Asbury, Michael Conklin, Kristin Ersland, Ben Gromer, Chad Haywood, Monica Hourigan, Hillary Jones, Brandon Tussing and Nicole Vogt.

Halifax Health’s Radiologic Sciences program began in 1965 and has three faculty members – Darcie Nethery, Ph.D., RT(R), education coordinator; Dee Ann Vanlandingham, MHS, RT(R), clinical coordinator; and Brittany Taylor, BAS, RT(R), clinical instructor.  All courses and clinical take place at Halifax Health.  Through an affiliation agreement with Daytona State College, the students earn college credit and an associate’s degree in Radiography along with a certification from Halifax Health.
