DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (October 3, 2018) – During its annual meeting on September 22 at the Palmetto Women’s Club in Daytona Beach, Halifax Health – Auxiliary, Inc. made a check presentation to Halifax Health – Foundation, Halifax Health Medical Center’s charitable foundation, in the amount of $110,101.01.
“We greatly appreciate Halifax Health – Auxiliary’s year-round fundraising efforts. Their continued support allows us to supplement crucial health services for our community,” says Joe Petrock, executive director, Halifax Health – Foundation.
Also during the meeting, Halifax Health – Auxiliary officers were installed to serve a one-year term, beginning October 1, 2018. The auxiliary’s new officers are: Cynthia Rose, president; Daphne Sapp, first vice president; James Davis, second vice president; Donna Himes, recording secretary; Tami Collins, corresponding secretary; Joan Chase, treasurer; and Mehdi Mahdvar, assistant treasurer.
Halifax Health – Auxiliary was established in 1932. The Auxiliary provides volunteer opportunities to support Halifax Health and its patients. Volunteer opportunities are available for both adults and teenagers 16 years of age and older.
