Halifax Health – Behavioral Services has recently been awarded the Platinum designation by Optum, formerly known as United Behavioral Health, for delivering highly effective inpatient care as measured by Optum’s Achievements in Clinical Excellence (ACE) program.

Halifax Health – Behavioral Services was honored with the Platinum distinction based on clinical data collected by Optum over the course of an entire year. Optum looked at specific criteria, such as readmission rates and average length of inpatient stay, and compared Halifax Health – Behavioral Services data to that of other regionally-based facilities. Of the several key data points examined, Halifax Health – Behavioral Services exceeded nearly all of them.
Halifax Health – Behavioral Services provides psychiatric services for adults, children and adolescents. It is the only comprehensive facility of its kind in Volusia and Flagler counties that offers services for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems.
