DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (June 3, 2015) – Eric Peburn, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Halifax Health, has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review 2015 list of “150 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know.” The list features some of the most impressive healthcare finance executives from across the United States.
Peburn joined Halifax Health in 1996 as corporate controller and later served as director of finance and assistant administrator. In 2007, he was named the community health system’s chief financial officer. Prior to joining Halifax Health, Peburn was an auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP in Orlando, Florida.
Peburn holds both bachelors and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Florida. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
