Halifax Health-Foundation raised $154,000 during its 2016 Bahama Casual event held in June.  The theme of this year’s event celebrated the decades of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s and included Buddy Holly, Roy Orbinson and Donna Summers tribute performances.  In addition, members of the foundation’s board performed songs by Village People.  Proceeds from the event will go to support women’s and children’s health initiatives, including the Betty Jane France Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach.
