DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (January 20, 2023) The Annual Bahama Casual Event presented by Lowell & Nancy Lohman and Glenn & Connie Ritchey raised over $187,000 to benefit the Lohman Center for Diabetes at Halifax Health. The event, held January 6, 2023, at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, drew over 300 guests who were entertained by KTG Entertainment and enjoyed fine cuisine. The Foundation continues to raise funds to support our effort in providing high-quality healthcare by purchasing state-of-the-art technology and equipment and provide up to date education for staff to enhance our community’s general health and wellness. The event is limited to 150 couples who each had a chance of winning a 2023 Chevrolet lease or $20,000 in cash.

Initially held in October but was postponed due to Hurricane Ian, it was a huge success, and Executive Director of the Halifax Health Foundation, Joe Petrock said, “I wish to thank Charlie Lydecker, our Foundation Chair, the Foundation Board of Directors and our long-standing supporters for helping Halifax Health continue to be the healthcare leader in our community.”
