Halifax Health Honors Local EMS Professionals with BBQ Events

More than 400 Emergency Medical Services professionals from agencies throughout Volusia County were treated to a complimentary barbecue meal and t-shirt as part of Halifax Health’s celebration of National Emergency Services Week 2016.  Celebrated throughout the U.S. on May 15-21, EMS Week brought together local communities and medical personnel to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s front line.  Complimentary barbecue lunches were served by Halifax Health to local EMS professionals, beginning May 17, at Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange and May 21 at Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach.
