Halifax Health – Hospice seeks caring, supportive and dedicated volunteers to provide assistance at their office and with their patients and families in Orange and Osceola counties.
At Halifax Health – Hospice, volunteer support roles can be tailored to one’s interest. Volunteers can choose to socialize with patients and families, serve as a special event ambassador, or assist with phone calls or clerical duties, including data entry. Veterans are needed as well to visit and honor patients who have served our country. Licensed massage therapists, cosmetologists, pet therapists, musicians and artists who would like to donate their time and services are welcome.
Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend the next volunteer orientation on February 26 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. For additional information, contact Halifax Health – Hospice Volunteer Coordinator Ann SanCartier at 407.267.9499 or Ann.SanCartier@Halifax.org.
