Halifax Health Opens First Urgent Care Center in Ormond Beach

(February 14, 2017) – Halifax Health has opened its first urgent care center in Ormond Beach.  Located at 775 West Granada Boulevard, Suite 102, Halifax Health – Urgent Care offers Ormond Beach residents convenient access to medical care including diagnosis and treatment of many common health concerns for children and adults.

“Halifax Health is pleased to increase the number of family medical services we are able to provide to the Ormond Beach community with the opening of this urgent care center.  At Halifax Health – Urgent Care, Ormond Beach residents have convenient access to quality medical care for minor illness and injury close to home,” says Jeff Feasel, chief executive officer for Halifax Health.

Open six days a week, Halifax Health – Urgent Care offers onsite, immediate care of minor illness and injury for adults and children starting at six months of age.  Medical services offered include x-ray, electrocardiogram (EKG), laboratory services and sports physicals, as well as follow-up care resources.

The clinical team for Halifax Health – Urgent Care is James D. Henson, MD, and physician assistant Neha Patel.

The urgent care center is open Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Appointments are not needed.  Most insurance plans are accepted.  For more information, call 386.425.4480.
