Halifax Health Receives Generous Donations at Halifax Health – Foundation Board Meeting

Daytona Beach, Fla. – (February 8, 2024) Halifax Health is thrilled to announce the generous contributions received at yesterday’s Halifax Health – Foundation Board Meeting, further bolstering the organization’s mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to the community.

During the meeting, Halifax Health gratefully accepted donations totaling $28,600, demonstrating the unwavering support and commitment of various community partners and individuals. These donations will significantly impact Halifax Health’s ability to continue delivering high-quality care and innovative treatments to patients in need.

The contributions include:

Tanger Outlets: As part of their Tanger Pink Campaign, Tanger Outlets, represented by Shelley Sloan and Rachel Fives, has generously donated $1,500 to support our Halifax Health – Charles L. and Miki N. Grant Cancer Center for Hope. This donation underscores Tanger Outlets’ dedication to promoting breast cancer awareness and supporting local healthcare initiatives.

Halifax Sailing Association: The Halifax Sailing Association, represented by Lisa Herbster, Maria Regeci and Kathy & Chris Sinnett,  has contributed $2,100 through their Pink Ribbon Regatta fundraiser, demonstrating their commitment to raising awareness and funds for oncology services at Halifax Health. This partnership highlights the impactful collaboration between Halifax Health and community organizations.

Halifax Health also received a remarkable donation of $25,000 from a grateful patient, further illustrating the profound impact of compassionate care provided by Halifax Health’s dedicated healthcare professionals. This significant contribution to the general fund will enable Halifax Health to enhance its services and meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community.
