Daytona Beach- Longtime Jacksonville Jaguar season ticket holders, Deb and Eric Robinson, are headed to Super Bowl LV this Sunday.  According to Deb, a Registered Nurse at Halifax Health since 2014, “We have been season ticket holders for the Jacksonville Jaguars through thick and thin and this was a great surprise.”  A few months ago she and her husband Eric, a Palm Coast Fire Department Lieutenant, received an email from the NFL announcing that healthcare workers would be honored in Tampa Bay for the Super Bowl.  Eric emailed the NFL back and explained that he and Deb were both involved in healthcare and a few weeks later they were headed to the Super Bowl.  For these football fans this is a dream come true.

Halifax Health President and CEO and Heidi Wright, RN and Director of Nursing presented Deb and Eric with customized Halifax Health jerseys to represent the community’s health system on game day.  “I am so pleased that healthcare workers are being recognized by so many organizations.  Having been on the business side of healthcare for over 30 years, I know the feeling and am thankful every day that we have people like Deb and Eric here to take care of us.  They will be representing the entire Halifax Health family on Sunday.”

This was a complete surprise and shows how the country is rallying for healthcare workers.
