Clinical breast exams and screenings will be provided by community partners for those meeting eligibility requirements. Halifax Health is providing this free navigation service with the goal of saving lives through early detection.
The kick-off event introducing the helpline to the community will feature a free, fun interactive photo booth complete with pink photo props, music and free giveaways.
Calls to 386.425.PINK will be answered by trained and caring staff Monday-Friday from 8 am-4 pm.

Early detection saves lives. Ninety-eight percent of women diagnosed with breast cancer early are survivors, yet we lose a woman to breast cancer every 90 seconds.
