Halifax Health – Virtual Care is NOT appropriate for more serious injuries and illness. If you are experiencing chest pain or pressure, severe bleeding or any change in cognition, facial drooping, paralysis or numbness, call 911 and go to the nearest Emergency Room.

- Close any unnecessary programs and applications before you start your appointment. This can slow down your connection and make it difficult to communicate with your provider.

When would I use Halifax Health Virtual Care?
Halifax Health Virtual Care is for your convenience if your doctors office is closed or if it’s difficult for you to get to your doctors office, if you feel too sick to drive, if you’re away from home or if you have children at home and are not able to bring them to a doctors office.

Can I be treated for two conditions during one visit?
We can treat you for multiple symptoms related to a single condition during one visit.
For two separate conditions or symptoms such as acne and flu, we will require separate visits to treat each condition separately. IMPORTANT: You will be charged for each visit.
