Ernie Dignan, her dearly beloved husband of 33 years, passed away peacefully at the Care Center in Edgewater after battling ALS for 2 years and 8 months.
He was able to live out his last days with dignity and honor surrounded by family and friends. Carol attributes so much of his continued happiness throughout the course of his end-of-life journey to the care he received from Halifax Health – Hospice.
