Port Orange resident Jan Kirkpatrick is the recipient of the Joe Petrock Volunteer of the Month Award for August 2015.

Kirkpatrick serves as chairperson for the surgical waiting room where she arranges coverage for the front desk on a weekly basis.
“Jan goes above and beyond expectations to complete her assignments. If someone is out, she unselfishly volunteers her time by stepping in to take their place. That’s just one of the reasons we feel she deserves this honor,” says Linda Trader, president, Halifax Health-Auxiliary.
