DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (January 18, 2019) – Julie Bahr has been named the Joe Petrock Auxiliary Volunteer of the Month for January 2019 by the Halifax Health – Auxiliary.
A DeLand resident, Bahr has been a volunteer in the Halifax Health – Center for Neurosciences since last August. Since her start, she has donated more than 84 hours of her time assisting and visiting patients and writing encouraging notes to nursing staff.
Halifax Health – Auxiliary is a local charitable 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to serve the community through partnership with Halifax Health. The Auxiliary has been operating since 1932 and serves over 400 volunteer members contributing more than 80,000 hours annually.
