(February 15, 2017) – Halifax Health – Auxiliary is proud to announce Daytona Beach resident Karen Voll as Halifax Health Volunteer of the Month for February 2017.
Voll has volunteered more than 11,500 hours since becoming a Halifax Health – Auxiliary member in 1997. She currently volunteers at the operating room front desk and continues to be a valuable resource to the entire operating room team. In addition, through the years, Voll has been an active member of the Auxiliary’s board of directors.
Halifax Health – Auxiliary is a local charitable 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to serve the community through partnership with Halifax Health. The Auxiliary has been operating since 1932 and serves over 400 volunteer members contributing more than 80,000 hours annually. Halifax Health – Auxiliary also assists with general fundraising efforts through their Gift Shop, sponsored sales and partnership with First Uniform – the only in-house healthcare apparel and accessory store in the Daytona Beach area.
