DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (October 29, 2019) – Amy Kurth and Erica Ramos of Halifax Health|Brooks Rehabilitation were recently honored with the Brooks Rehabilitation Celebrate the Star Award for going above and beyond in providing the highest quality medical care to patients. Winners of the award are nominated by their peers for demonstrating the organization’s mission, vision and values.
DeLand resident Amy Kurth is the activities coordinator for Halifax Health|Brooks Rehabilitation. An employee since 2016, Kurth began as a certified occupational therapy assistant and recently transitioned into the role of activities coordinator. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Daytona State College.
Erica Ramos of Daytona Beach is a registered nurse supervisor at Halifax Health|Brooks Rehabilitation. In 2014, she began her nursing career with Halifax Health|Brooks Rehabilitation as a certified nursing assistant and unit clerk. She has an associate’s degree in nursing from Concorde Career College in Jacksonville and is currently studying to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University.
