The Halifax Health - Hospice Grief Center in New Smyrna Beach was established the serve the needs of Southeast Volusia County residents who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
We offer help in addressing the loss of a loved one through:
- Regularly scheduled correspondence on grief and loss issues
- Grief and loss material and reading suggestions Individual counseling in the home or area offices
- Support groups which provide education and emotional support
- Twice yearly memorial services provided by the Halifax Health - Hopsice Chaplains
- Special events and workshops such as Holidays and Creative Expressions
- Children's Grief Services
- Traumatic Loss Program
