Physical therapists provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment to relieve pain and/or restore function. Physical therapists assess joint motion, muscle strength, motion, endurance and activity performance required in daily living, work and recreational activities.

Occupational therapists evaluate and help develop the many skills needed to function in daily life. They assist patients by restoring their ability to participate in everyday living activities such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating and bathing, as well as the ability to use your arms and hands.

Speech pathologists help patients improve their communication skills, cognitive functioning and swallowing abilities. They help patients work on their ability to read, write, speak, and understand speech.  They will also focus on to the development of a patient’s attention, concentration, memory, planning ability and thought organization. Additional areas may include problem solving, reasoning and judgment skills.

Our concussion program provides a multidisciplinary approach to improving pediatric and adult patient outcomes after a concussion. This program includes physician evaluations, neuropsychological consultations and testing, equipment adaptation for activities of daily living including work and school activities, as well as treatment for common post-concussion symptoms such as dizziness and headaches. We actively serve the community by collaborating with primary care physicians, pediatricians, sports medicine doctors, schools, coaches, athletic trainers and parents.
