Halifax Health Medical Center is a 678-bed hospital. All major medical and surgical services are available. The 24-hour emergency department (ED) includes the area’s only Level II Trauma Center and the only Pediatric ED. It also features services for less critical injuries.

Halifax Health – Medical Center of Port Orange
This new 80-bed community hospital offers 24/7 Emergency Department, four operating rooms and private patient rooms. Services offered include physical, occupational and speech therapy, imaging services like CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound, laboratory services, same-day surgery, echocardiograms, pulmonary functions, and a Gastrointestinal Lab.

An accredited cancer program since 1956, Center for Oncology provides comprehensive cancer care including medical and radiation oncology services, the area’s only gynecological oncologist, cancer research, genetic testing, national clinical trials, cancer screenings including mammography, counseling, nurse navigators, support groups, and the Josephine Field Davidson Cancer Resource Library. Outpatient medical Oncology treatments are also available at Halifax Health Medical Center-Daytona Beach, in Port Orange, Ormond Beach, and New Smyrna Beach. Multiple locations.
Halifax Health – Child and Adolescent Behavioral Services
Halifax Health Behavioral Services is the area’s only comprehensive center that provides psychiatric and psychological services for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems. Individual, family and group counseling are available.

Halifax Health – Children’s Medical Center has three convenient locations, each dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of children. In addition to pediatrics, Pediatric Rheumatology and Pediatric Infectious Disease healthcare is also available.

Halifax Health – Center for Family and Sports Medicine offers a wide array of healthcare services for the whole family. We offer primary care, pediatric care, obstetrical care and gynecological care. Our Sports Medicine program is affiliated with the local high schools and Universities for the unique needs of athletes. We are affiliated with the Department of Family Medicine of the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

Halifax Health – Hospice has been providing care to people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones since 1979, serving all of Volusia and Flagler counties. The experienced team of healthcare professionals and dedicated volunteers provide medical, emotional and spiritual support in the home, one of our beautiful home-like Care Centers, or assisted living facility. Halifax Health – Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurances.

Halifax Health – Keech Pediatric Neighborhood Care serves the needs of children in the Daytona Beach community. A wide scope of healthcare services are provided, including preventive care, sick care, adolescent services, immunizations and family planning for children up to age 18. The center also works closely with various community agencies including Head Start, Healthy Communities, Children’s Medical Services, Department of Children & Families, Volusia County School Health Services, Volusia County Health Department, and Easter Seals.
