Leslie Williams, MD is a board certified Family Medicine physician who earned his Doctor of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 2014. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Halifax Health Medical Center if Daytona Beach, Florida in 2017, where he was chief resident. Dr. Williams sees patients 12 years of age and up and has a strong background in preventive care and health promotion in teenage and adult patients.
Dr. Williams has participated in multiple international mission trips, enjoys volunteering with various health fairs, radio outreach, and mentoring programs in the community.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and fitness.
Rebecca Peck, M.D., a board-certified family physician, has joined the medical team at Halifax Health – Primary Care Ormond Beach, 1688 W. Granada Blvd., Suite 2A, Ormond Beach, Fla.
Dr. Peck earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut with an interest in Geriatrics and Women’s Health. In 2001, she completed her Family Medicine Residency at Halifax Health and is a board-certified family physician. She has worked in government, private and hospital-employed physician environments as a geriatric specialist and family physician.
While winning numerous awards and scholarships in her career, Dr. Peck has consistently received referrals and high patient satisfaction scores, and has published several research papers. Dr. Peck is active in the Catholic Medical Association, enjoys playing piano in her church praise band, is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her family.
About Juliana DeMello, APRN
Juliana DeMello, APRN is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her master’s degree in nursing from South University. She is passionate for women’s health and disease prevention.
She has a strong background in emergency medicine and has clinical training in women’s health, pediatrics and family medicine. She has served the community as Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for 3 years. Her patients range from teens to adult.
Juliana is originally from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and speaks Portuguese and Spanish. She relocated to Florida from Rhode Island for the sunshine weather and joined the Halifax Health team in 2013. When she is not providing exceptional care to her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, going to Zumba classes and the beach.
