Leslie Williams, MD is a board certified Family Medicine physician who earned his Doctor of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia in 2014. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Halifax Health Medical Center if Daytona Beach, Florida in 2017, where he was chief resident. Dr. Williams sees patients 12 years of age and up and has a strong background in preventive care and health promotion in teenage and adult patients.
Dr. Williams has participated in multiple international mission trips, enjoys volunteering with various health fairs, radio outreach, and mentoring programs in the community.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and fitness.
Dr. Irma E. Urrutia-Potter, MD, completed her medical school at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, Mexico City, Mexico. She has post-doctorate training in cancer prevention and epidemiology from the University of Arizona Cancer Center. She also has extensive clinical research background and participated in multiple clinical trials at the University of Arizona Medical Center.
Dr. Urrutia-Potter did her post-graduate residency training at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago. She had a private practice in the Chicago for several years and was the Medical Director for a non-profit organization in Chicago.
Dr. Urrutia-Potter sees patients of all ages, from newborn to adults, and has a special interest in preventive care, management of chronic diseases, and women’s health. She is committed to the well-being of her patients, and her most important of her patients, and her most important goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of her patients. Dr. Urrutia-Potter is bilingual in English and Spanish.
In her free time, Dr. Urrutia-Potter enjoys playing tennis, swimming, working out, and reading.
About Juliana DeMello, APRN
Juliana DeMello, APRN is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her master’s degree in nursing from South University. She is passionate for women’s health and disease prevention.
She has a strong background in emergency medicine and has clinical training in women’s health, pediatrics and family medicine. She has served the community as Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for 3 years. Her patients range from teens to adult.
Juliana is originally from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and speaks Portuguese and Spanish. She relocated to Florida from Rhode Island for the sunshine weather and joined the Halifax Health team in 2013. When she is not providing exceptional care to her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, going to Zumba classes and the beach.
