Halifax Health – Weight Management has more than two decades of experience helping clients lose weight and maintain that weight loss through a variety of medically-based approaches.
We are proud to offer a team of highly credentialed healthcare professionals that includes physicians, registered dietitians and exercise physiologists with the expertise to identify the right plan for each individual.
Successful weight management is a matter of learning and practicing new skills. At Halifax Health we offer five different programs and four of them are provided by HMR Weight Management Services (HMR). The programs focus on teaching you new lifestyle skills that will reduce weight and improve overall health. With a vast variety of options ranging from aggressive HMR low-calorie meal replacements to more gradual structured meal plans – your plan is catered to you. As a participant, you will have one-on-one sessions with a registered dietitian, exercise physiologist and physician along with weekly behavioral modification classes and weigh-ins with our dietitian.
Participants are given a free membership to the Wellness Center during their time in the program and a personalized exercise plan developed by our exercise physiologist.
