Alberto Bursian, MD, is a highly skilled provider specializing in pain medicine and currently practicing at UF Health Pain Medicine - Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, FL. Dr. Bursian embarked on his medical career at the University of Florida, where he earned his medical degree in 2016. His commitment to advancing his expertise led him to complete a residency in anesthesiology at UF in 2020.
Following his residency, Dr. Bursian further enhanced his expertise by pursuing a fellowship in pain medicine at Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, Texas. This focused training provided hands-on experience managing a comprehensive list of complex pain conditions.
During his residency in 2017, Dr. Bursian was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, whose mission is to provide compassionate, collaborative, scientific-based care with dedication to maintaining the human connection in modern healthcare.
