Alberto Bursian, MD, specializes in pain medicine at UF Health Pain Medicine at Halifax Health | UF Health Medical Center of Deltona and Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach. He began his medical career at the University of Florida, where he earned his medical degree in 2016 followed by a residency in anesthesiology at UF College of Medicine in 2020.
Dr. Bursian further enhanced his expertise by pursuing a fellowship in pain medicine at Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, Texas. This focused training provided hands-on experience managing a wide range of complex pain conditions. In 2017, Dr. Bursian was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which promotes compassionate, collaborative, scientific-based care while maintaining the human connection in modern healthcare. He has also made substantial contributions to medical research literature, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.
