Dr. Brandon Simonetta is an orthopedic surgeon who is a Florida native, born in the St. Petersburg area.  Dr. Simonetta joined The Orthopedic Clinic in August 2023 with special interests and fellowship training in spine surgery. He also has extensive experience in orthopedic trauma.

While completing his fellowship at Sonoran spine, Dr. Simonetta trained with numerous excellent spine surgeons including deformity specialist Dr. Michael Chang, who learned directly from world-renowned spine surgeons Dr. Lawrence Lenke and Dr. Daniel Riew.

Dr. Simonetta received his medical degree from The SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He immediately followed with a 5-year residency in orthopedic surgery at Orlando Health in central Florida. He then went on to complete his Spine Surgery fellowship at Sonoran Spine in the Phoenix, Arizona area where he simultaneously performed research on adjacent segment disease.

At The Orthopedic Clinic, Dr. Simonetta sees patients at the following locations: Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, and Port Orange.

In his personal life, Dr. Simonetta likes to spend time with his family and friends. He takes interest in hiking, camping, sports, reading, technology, video games, and computer programming. His favorite sports teams are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic, and Tampa Bay Lightning.

  • Spine procedures: minimally invasive surgery, tubular surgery, microscopic surgery, robotic surgery, spinal fusion, navigation assisted surgery, degenerative decompression & stabilization, deformity correction, fracture stabilization, kyphoplasty, and other procedures.
  • Spine conditions treated: degenerative disc disease, herniated disc, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, cervical myelopathy, neurogenic claudication, spinal stenosis, vertebral discitis, cervical & lumbar radiculopathy, scoliosis, spine fractures, and other spinal pathologies.
  • Orthopedic Trauma: fixation of fractures including clavicle, forearm, wrist, femur, tibia, and ankle.
