Daniela Neagu, MD, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist at the University of Florida Health Congenital Heart Center. Her primary goal is to serve the community by educating patients and their families, helping them feel safe and supported.
Her clinical interests include noninvasive imaging, such as fetal and transesophageal echocardiography, as well as exercise physiology and general cardiology.
Dr. Neagu began her medical education at Rutgers University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and applied chemistry. She continued her studies in Romania, earning her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Afterward, she returned to New Jersey to complete her pediatric residency, then moved to Florida for her pediatric cardiology fellowship.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Neagu has also participated in numerous research projects and presentations focusing on cardiomyopathies, cyanotic heart disease and congenital heart disease.
