Danny Liang, MD, is a board-certified UF Health neurosurgeon practicing at UF Health Neurosurgery - Neurosciences Center at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida. Dedicated to making a meaningful impact, his goal is to help patients and their families by promoting wellness and fostering lasting relationships.

Committed to patient education, Dr. Liang ensures that those under his care are well-informed, empowering them to make the best decisions for their health based on their personal goals and expectations.

Dr. Liang's journey into medicine began in high school, where he developed a deep fascination in human anatomy and physiology. He was particularly drawn to the brain and nervous system due to their complexity and essential role in human function. This passion led him to pursue a career in neuroscience and neurosurgery.

Dr. Liang earned a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998, followed by a medical degree in 2003 from the New Jersey Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry. Afterward, he completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore in 2010. Further specializing in neurosurgical oncology, he pursued a fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Liang enjoys staying active through golf and other sports. He loves traveling and spending quality time with his friends and family.
