Emily Helmick, DO, MA, earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and went on to earn her master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz. She completed her medical schooling at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Ariz., where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, and completed her residency at Creighton School of Medicine and Valleywise Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. Additionally, she received additional training in pediatric immunology, robotics, hernias and surgical skills for exposure in trauma.
