Dr. Jennifer Babjak, a native of Valdosta, Georgia, earned her bachelor's degree in Spanish from Valdosta State University and a master’s in Multilingual Multicultural Education from Florida State University. She taught English to adult learners at both universities before pursuing a medical career. Dr. Babjak completed a second bachelor's in biology and interned in rural Nicaragua, where she realized the significant impact a family physician can have. She then attended Mercer University School of Medicine, serving as a student ambassador and LMSA treasurer.
In her free time, Dr. Babjak enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, jogging, kayaking, and camping. She has special interests in women's health, dermatology, mental health, and preventive medicine. Dr. Babjak is thrilled to join the Halifax Health team to provide equitable care to all her patients.
