Joni Averett holds the position of Director, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations. Joni has served as Manager of Employee Relations and Recruitment since 2013 and has worked for Halifax Health since 2007. Joni holds a Masters in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University. Joni’s manages all aspects of Employee Relations, ensuring the Human Resources Department remains a strategic business partner to the organization as well as providing advocacy and support for Team Members at every level of the organization. Additionally, Joni oversees the recruitment and selection processes for Halifax Health.. With her team, she plans, develops, and implements operations that promote recruitment and retention of exceptional talent in accordance with our Cornerstone mission and vision.
