Dr. Chaplin was born in a Chicago suburb and moved to Jupiter, Florida, where she grew up with her five younger siblings. She attended the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Health Disparities. She attended Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami. Dr. Chaplin was Co-President of the AMSA chapter and was a peer tutor and mentor for pre-medical and medical students. Her passion for family medicine developed through witnessing the impact of social determinants of health on patient care in South Florida. She aims to build long-term patient relationships and serve diverse populations through full-spectrum family medicine. Her professional interests include sports medicine, academic medicine, and medical education.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Chaplin enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, cooking, drinking coffee, and cheering for the Florida Gators. She is excited to continue her family medicine journey as a provider on Florida’s East Coast.
