Kathryn McHugh, MD

Kathryn McHugh, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician who graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY where she was part of the Rural Medicine Scholars Program. She completed her residency at Halifax Health – Family Medicine Residency Program in Daytona Beach, FL with a focus in obstetrics. She worked in rural northern New York providing full spectrum care including obstetrics for 5 years prior to returning to the Daytona Beach area.

Dr. McHugh provides full spectrum primary care, comprehensive OB services, and non-surgical gynecologic services, including preventative care, family planning, management of chronic conditions, annual exams, pap smears, long-acting contraception, neonatal and pediatric care and more. Her special interests include women’s health, pediatric care, mother-baby care, obstetrics, and breastfeeding. She has a passion for assisting underserved communities, patient education, preventative medicine, and ensuring healthy moms and healthy babies.

She enjoys the going to the beach, reading, watching her kids play sports, and spending time with her family.
