Kathryn McHugh, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician who graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY where she was part of the Rural Medicine Scholars Program. She completed her residency at Halifax Health’s distinguished Family Medicine Residency Program in Daytona Beach, Fla. with a focus on obstetrics.
She worked in rural northern New York for five years providing a full spectrum of care including obstetrics prior to returning to the Daytona Beach area. Dr. McHugh provides full spectrum primary care, comprehensive OB services and non-surgical gynecologic services, including preventative care, family planning, management of chronic conditions, annual exams, pap smears, long-acting contraception, neonatal and pediatric care and more.
Her special interests include women’s health, pediatric care, mother-baby care, obstetrics and breastfeeding. She has a passion for working with underserved communities, patient education, preventative medicine and ensuring healthy moms and healthy babies.
