Salman Ahmed, MD, FAAP graduated from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan in 1989. He completed his pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas. Afterwards, he spent four years doing Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Disease and Pediatric Rheumatology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is board-certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease. In addition to English, he speaks Urdu and is married with four children.
