Sharon Hesher, APRN

Sharon Hesher, APRN, FNP-BC, MSN, is a board-certified advanced registered nurse practitioner with UF Health Urology at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a lifelong resident of Volusia County, she graduated from Atlantic High School and Daytona State College before working as a registered nurse at Halifax Health. Sharon earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then completed postgraduate study at Herzing University with a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner.

For 11 years, Sharon worked in the cardiac catheterization lab assisting with elective procedures and cardiac emergencies as part of the Heart and Vascular Surgery department at Halifax Health. She is passionate about providing the best care possible to every patient she encounters and has dedicated her career to caring for patients with acute, chronic, and critical care needs.

Sharon strives for excellence in helping each patient manage all aspects of their urological needs from UTIs, kidney stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction, urinary continence, overactive bladder, and assisting with treatment and diagnosis of cancers of the kidneys and prostate. Her goal is to assess each patient compassionately, as a distinctive individual with unique needs, and offer them support and education so they can maintain the highest quality of life possible.
