Tyler Johnson, MD graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts and went on to earn a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Ohio State University, and a Master of Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) from the University of Toledo before returning to Ohio State for medical school. His passion for primary care and developing close relationships with his patients led Dr. Johnson to pursue a career in family medicine. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Halifax Health. Dr. Johnson served as Chief Resident and received the Phi-Yen Nguyen Award for Excellence in Pediatrics as well as the Brian Blaxall Award, the highest honor given to a graduating resident.
Outside of the office, Dr. Johnson loves spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons. Whether on a boat, at the beach or Disney World, Dr. Johnson and his family love to enjoy the Florida sunshine year-round.
