Dr. Zubiya Syed, originally from Tampa, Florida, holds dual degrees from the University of South Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with the honor of receiving the Golden Bull Award for leadership and service to the community. Zubiya pursued her medical education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she discovered her love for primary care and family medicine.
During her academic years, Zubiya was actively involved in combating human trafficking, using her platform to raise awareness and educate others. She demonstrated exceptional leadership as the Student Government president and was honored as Student Doctor of the Year. Zubiya's dedication to primary care is fueled by her desire for continuity of care, especially in underserved communities. She strongly advocates for preventive medicine and addressing social injustices within the healthcare system.
Outside of her medical career, Zubiya enjoys spending quality time with family & friends, traveling to new destinations, maintaining an active lifestyle, discovering new culinary experiences, and playing board games.
