Charlena Stedman, CPA, has been named the deputy chief compliance officer for Halifax Health.
A Halifax Health employee since 2012, Stedman most recently served as the community hospital system’s interim chief compliance officer and audit director. As deputy chief compliance officer, she is responsible for Halifax Health’s compliance program operations.

Stedman is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Science in Accounting from MiddleTennessee State University and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Central Florida. She is also certified in healthcare compliance.
Prior to Halifax Health, Stedman specialized in public accounting, providing audit and advisory services to a variety of industries.
