DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – (August 14, 2017) – Tabitha Townsend, M.D., a medical oncologist, has joined Halifax Health – Center for Oncology.

An Ormond Beach native, Dr. Townsend is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri.  She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  Dr. Townsend has also completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Florida and is board-certified in internal medicine.

Halifax Health – Center for Oncology is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and offers a full-range of diagnostic testing, aggressive treatment, clinical trials and support to cancer patients and their families at locations in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach.
