Celebrate the arrival of the holiday season at Tanger Outlets Daytona Beach. This festive event will feature musical entertainment, crafts, games and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus! The tree lighting will take place at 6:30 p.m.
In addition, this event will commemorate World Prematurity Day, which takes place November 17. It will be one of many awareness events taking place around the world to bring attention to this health crisis that is the leading cause of death of children under the age of five worldwide. Information about Halifax Health Medical Center’s new designation as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will be shared during the event. Halifax Health Medical Center is the first and only healthcare provider in Volusia and Flagler counties to achieve the Level III NICU designation which means the hospital is equipped to care for premature babies born earlier than 28 weeks and smaller than 1,000 grams.
