Halifax Health is proud to announce Paul Trader as its Volunteer of the Month for August.
Trader has volunteered in the WellnessCenter at Halifax Health for three years where he performs a variety of support duties including mail pick up; greeting members; and sanitizing exercise equipment.
“Paul is always willing to assist other volunteers, staff members and clients at the WellnessCenter. He always has a positive can-do attitude which is evident by the work and commitment he demonstrates daily,” says Lynn Blanford, coordinator for Halifax Health – WellnessCenter.
In addition, Trader volunteers one day each week as a courtesy cart driver for Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach. In total, he has volunteered over 600 hours at Halifax Health.
Halifax Health – Auxiliary is a local charitable 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to serve the community through partnership with Halifax Health. The Auxiliary has been operating since 1932 and serves over 400 volunteer members contributing more than 80,000 hours annually. Halifax Health – Auxiliary also assists with general fundraising efforts through their Gift Shop, sponsored sales and partnership with First Uniform healthcare apparel and accessory store.
