Halifax Health is proud to announce the 2023-2024 Chairman of the Halifax Health Associates, Vinod Sagrani. 

About Us

The Halifax Health Associates are an energetic group of community leaders chosen to engage with our community’s healthcare leader and share that knowledge with community members. Our Associates meet bi-monthly to gain insight on Halifax Health’s new physicians, services, technology, and talent. They serve as advisors and ambassadors. They are a resource to the community and to Halifax Health. The Halifax Health Associates are credited by the Halifax Health Board of Commissioners and Halifax Health staff as being key elements in the success and growth of our healthcare system.    

Halifax Health Associates was first formed in 1982 by the Halifax Health Board of Commissioners. 

Today, Halifax Health is rated one of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals™ in the United States by IBM Watson Health™.  Halifax Health serves Volusia and Flagler counties, providing a continuum of healthcare services through a network of organizations including a tertiary hospital, two community hospitals, an urgent care network, psychiatric services, a cancer treatment center with five outreach locations, the area’s largest hospice, a center for inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation clinics, primary care walk-in clinics, a clinic specializing in women’s health, and a pediatric care community organization. Halifax Health offers the area’s only Level II Trauma Center, Center for Transplant Services, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Emergency Department with board-certified pediatricians on staff 24/7, Child and Adolescent Behavioral Services, OB Emergency Department, and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that cares for babies born earlier than 28 weeks. It’s also the area’s longest-standing Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center (TSC) offering complete stroke care..

None of this growth would have been possible for our community-owned health system without support from our residents and partners such as Brooks Rehabilitation, UF Health, YMCA, the colleges and universities in our area, our Board Of Commissioners, our Team Members, and our Halifax Health Associates who are committed to providing exceptional service, every encounter, every day to everyone.
