Halifax Health – Center for Family & Sports Medicine has provided quality primary care to adults and children for over 35 years. Our practice includes eight board-certified family medicine physicians, one board-certified pediatrician, a PhD psychologist, and 24 family medicine resident physicians. Our Sports Medicine services are provided by four board-certified sports medicine physicians and a sports medicine fellow. Care for Women services are provided by a board-certified physician and a women’s fellow.
We care for common medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, as well as common mental health issues. Our focus is on primary care of the whole person and family.
Our practice is actively involved in pediatric care, care for women, and gynecologic procedures. We offer exercise treadmill testing and perform skin procedures, casting, splinting, and many other common procedures. We also offer same day/acute visits for our established patients.

Pre-participation physical examination
Evaluation and management of sports-related concussions
Comprehensive non-surgical care for activity-related conditions (tendon or joint issues, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal issues)
Ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedures
Musculoskeletal/joint injections, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections

Halifax Health – Care for Women offers a full range of women’s health services and provides direct access to health-related educational services such as understanding birth, newborn care, and breastfeeding classes.
From early teen to motherhood and beyond, Halifax Health – Care for Women provides full spectrum women's healthcare including full annual well-woman exams, a range of GYN procedures, pre and postnatal care, as well as family planning.
