Heidi Wright, MSN, RN, Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer joined Halifax Health in 2004 as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery. Her journey within Halifax Health has seen her take on various roles, including Bedside Nurse, Charge Nurse, Nurse Recruiter in Human Resources, Nurse Manager of Center for Women & Infant Health, and Director of Nursing prior to her current role as VP & Chief Nursing Officer. Heidi oversees all nursing functions at all three campuses: Daytona Beach, Halifax Health Port Orange, and UF Health/Medical Center of Deltona.
Heidi’s education includes her associate degree in nursing from Palm Beach Community College, a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University, and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida with a focus on Leadership and Management. She is a member of the Nursing Advisory Boards with all our local colleges and universities. She is an active member of both AWHONN and AONL. She also serves on various boards throughout the county and within the community.
